Regency mahogany bracket clock with lion head carrying handles and ball feet.
Pad top with brass ball finial and side finial brackets.
Quarter reeded columns to case with brass capitals.
Arched brass fish scale frets to sides backed with silk.
Two train anchor escapement striking the hour on the hour.
White painted dial 8" diameter with Roman numerals signed:
Matching steel hands and Roman numerals.
Edge engraved backplate also engraved with 'Budgen Croyden'.
Thomas Budgen is listed as a clockmaker in Croyden and London. He was a member of the Clockmakers' Company with working dates of 1750 - 1824, an exceptionally long working life.
