Honey oak case with caddy top and gilded side finials.
Fret work in caddy and each side of hood door arch.
Integral pillars to hood with gilded capitals and repeated quarter pillars to rear.
Long trunk door with arch top and matching arch top panel in base.
Double plinth to base.
Width at widest point 20.75 ins (hood).
Dial :
12" x 16" brass rolling moon, featuring rosy cheeked man - in - the moon with
seascape coastal scenes of European style buildings almost certainly painted by the
same person who painted the rolling moons on CK 36 Warburton of Wolverhampton.
Chapter ring with large half hour markers and large cherub head style spandrels.
Well engraved matted dial centre with second chapter ring, salt box date aperture and engraving round winding holes.
Matching steel hour and minute hands and centre second hand.
Roman numerals.

alternatively spelt as 'Yeardon'.
